On February 19th, Huang Xin, secretary of the Party Committee of our school, led a team to The Central Hospital of Xiangtan to carry out cooperation and exchange activities, strengthening school-enterprise cooperation and promoting technological innovation and clinical application in the field of medical engineering. This activity aims to apply scientific research achievements to medical practice in colleges and universities. Xia Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee of The Central Hospital of Xiangtan, Wu Yongjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President, and heads of relevant departments attended the meeting. Zhang Xiaogang, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of our school, and heads of relevant departments and College of Medical Engineering and Technology attended the meeting.

Xia Hong extended a warm welcome to the arrival of Hunan Institute of Engineering and his delegation, and introduced the history, distinctive departments and achievements in medical equipment management and technological innovation of The Central Hospital of Xiangtan by video. He said that the progress of medical engineering technology is of great significance to improving the quality and efficiency of medical services, and he looks forward to further promoting the cooperation between hospitals and universities through this exchange, and jointly exploring new paths for the application of medical engineering technology in clinical practice.
