Entrepreneurship Lecture on Campus
time:2025-04-10        hits:

On the afternoon of April 7, the university hosted the "Entrepreneurship Lecture: Entrepreneur on Campus" event in the Second Lecture Hall. Alumni Liu Xunlin was invited to deliver a special report on college student entrepreneurship. Nearly 300 faculty members and students attended the lecture, which was presided over by Huang Zhonghua, Dean of the School of Outstanding Engineers.

Liu Xunlin delivered a speech titled "Entrepreneurship and Lifelong Growth." Drawing from his over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience, he shared the entire process from the "initial stage" to the "transformation stage" of entrepreneurship, from the perspectives of selecting the right entrepreneurial model, the core elements of business planning, and the critical pathways of enterprise management and operation. He emphasized that entrepreneurship is not only a path for personal growth but also a social responsibility and mission. Outstanding entrepreneurs should possess excellent personal qualities and a high sense of social responsibility.

In the Q&A session, students actively raised questions such as how to scientifically assess entrepreneurial risks, enhance industry insight, and set personal development goals. Liu Xunlin responded to each question in detail and encouraged students to pursue continuous growth, cultivate innovation awareness, sharpen industry sensitivity, and seize opportunities brought by the new wave of technological revolution and industrial transformation.

The university has actively responded to the call of the provincial government by vigorously promoting student entrepreneurship initiatives this year. Efforts include systematically building a new ecosystem for entrepreneurship education, implementing the "Entrepreneur Mentorship Program," upgrading the "Entrepreneurship Lecture" brand event, and establishing a closed-loop guidance mechanism covering "demand research—project diagnosis—follow-up services." Additionally, the university is optimizing its incubation system, building a 100-member entrepreneurship mentor team, and developing a new model of entrepreneurship education that deeply integrates "teaching, practice, and industry."
