To promote students' entrepreneurship and employment, and to facilitate their growth and talent development, on the afternoon of December 5th, the School of Foreign Languages held a sharing session titled "Entrepreneurs Enter Campus to Tell Entrepreneurship Stories" in the second lecture hall of the library. This event was led by special guests Yang Jie, the chairman of Hunan Sunny & Sandy Toys Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the founder of the "Sunny & Sandy Yangsu Scholarship," and an alumnus of the Class 0312 of Business English, and Jiang Teng, the founder of Hunan Yuanlexiang E-commerce Technology Co., Ltd. and Hunan Aishiwan Technology Co., Ltd., the founder of the "Tengyu Innovation and Entrepreneurship Scholarship," and an alumnus of the Class 1703 of English. The event was presided over by Zhu Jie, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Foreign Languages, and was attended by all counselors, representatives of class teachers, students who received awards and scholarships, and student representatives.

Jiang Teng first expressed his gratitude to the teachers for their instruction and help during his participation in the school's innovation and entrepreneurship project, and to Yang Jie for the inspiration he brought to his entrepreneurship. He narrated to everyone the original aspiration and process of his own entrepreneurship, "It is necessary to delve into practice, explore the market, enhance one's innovation ability, make full use of one's own advantages, and achieve both self-value and social value in the process of entrepreneurship." Jiang Teng brought entrepreneurship essentials and entrepreneurship experience to our students, guiding students to improve their core competitiveness in entrepreneurship.

"Currently, emerging industries are mushrooming, and traditional industries are also upgrading and transforming. When college students choose their careers, they should closely pay attention to the industry dynamics, understand the trend of the industry, market demand and future prospects, and make more forward-looking career choices." In the Q&A session, Yang Jie talked about his entrepreneurial experience, saying that college students should establish confidence, learn to plan, set goals, stick to goals, pay attention to accumulation and focus on cultivating their own comprehensive quality, including communication skills, teamwork, innovative thinking and so on. He encouraged everyone to grow and learn, and further improve their career planning ability.
Zhu Jie expressed his thanks to the two outstanding alumni entrepreneurs, Yang Jie and Jiang Teng, for their wonderful entrepreneurial story sharing. Zhu Jie said that inviting entrepreneurs to campus to tell entrepreneurial stories is not only an important measure for the college to promote innovation and entrepreneurship education and the training of innovative talents, but also an important opportunity for alumni to exchange experience with our students. She hopes that students will learn from role models, dare to innovate and venture, and put their entrepreneurial dreams into practice. Students who participated in the activity said that the sharing of their seniors had clarified the direction for their own innovation and entrepreneurship as well as employment, brought enlightenment, and they had benefited a lot.
The School of Foreign Languages will continue to explore school-enterprise cooperation in the talent training, give play to the role of entrepreneurs in teaching and setting an example for college students' employment and entrepreneurship, and inspire a wide range of students to exert their youthful potential and release innovative vitality.
