On April 1, a delegation led by Pan Li, Director of Xiangtan Museum, visited our history museum. The two parties engaged in extensive discussions on establishing social science education bases, talent cultivation, and cultural education, charting a blueprint for future collaboration.

Tan Lingling, Deputy Director of the history museum, presented the university’s historical development and achievements, showcasing photographs and artifacts in the history museum.

During the tour, Director Pan expressed admiration for our museum’ educational approach of "teaching through history and culture" and its diverse exhibition methods. She emphasized that universities serve as vital platforms for cultural preservation and dissemination and proposed joint initiatives such as thematic exhibitions and lecture series to create a regionally influential brand in social science.

Additionally, Pan suggested cultivating an interdisciplinary team possessing both historical expertise and museum exhibition capability through mutual exchanges. Both institutions agreed to deepen cooperation in co-hosted events, talent development, and resource sharing, using this visit as a foundation for future collaboration.

Looking ahead, our history museum will deepen collaboration with local cultural and tourism institutions to implement the university's "135 Project" for enhancing campus culture construction. By promoting our historical heritage to reach society and integrating external social resources into our school, we will strengthen our educational function while contributing to regional cultural development.
